At 17, my father surprised me with my first camera, a Pentax k1000. I spent every spare moment I could shooting the gray streets of my hometown Seattle.  I soon realized that this was exactly what I wanted to do with my life.

 

Before leaving the muted light of Seattle for over exposed Los Angeles, I had 5 solo exhibitions of my work, shot weddings, headshots, commercial, fashion, fine art, portraits and doggies.

 

I spent 5 years in Los Angeles, shooting weddings which started back in Seattle when I shot my first wedding at 18 years old.  I also worked in the industry shooting actors and models which was just as rewarding and fun for me as weddings were.  I shoot mostly in Vegas, Seattle and LA but I've traveled the world for shoots. 

 

Nothing makes me happier than capturing an image that moves people and inspires them in some way.  We all want to cause an effect, I've found that photography is one way I can do that.  You'll be thrilled that you booked me.

 

By the way, I still have that Pentax my father gave me.
